Avantor donates Back to School Packs

On Wednesday 10th September, Wendy Howell, Reading Family Aid committee member took possession of 300 "Back to School Packs", kindly put together and donated by staff from Avantor. The packs contained coloured pencils, rulers, stickers and sets of pens.

Avantor is a global provider of products and services to the life sciences and advanced technology industries. They have a key site in Theale, Reading, specialising in chromatography.

Wendy was then able to donate the packs to the children of Geoffrey Fields Junior school. The photo shows members of the school council receiving them. They were very excited. Headteacher, Rebecca Brown, said it was a really lovely thing to do and the children would appreciate the items, whether they were used in class or taken home. Avantor has supported RFA in the past and looks forward to doing so again at this year's Toys and Teens Appeal.
